Andhra Cuisine
Telugu cuisine is a topic of South India related to the Telugu persons from Andhra Pradesh. It is also the cuisine of the Telugu speaking population of Karnataka , but with slight difference due to local culture. Generally known for hot and spicy taste, the cooking is very thankfull due to the vast spread of the people and varies lower region.
The state become leading producer of red chilli and rice , these two things cause the traditional dishes and recipes to be mostly rice based use of spices making the food one of the richest and spiciest foods in the world. Both vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian and sea food feature always in their menus.
A typical Andhra breakfast in one day contains of a few choosen from the typical types of items listed below. Usually it consists of Idli , Vada (Deep Fried), Dosa cake or Crepe or breads, eaten with condiments. Tea, coffee or milk is sometimes taken with these dishes.
