Bengali Cuisine
Bengali recipe is a unique collection originating in Bengal, a region in the eastern part of the Indian subcontinent, which is now divided between West Bengal and Bangladesh.
Bengali food has inherited a very large number of influences and both india and ou off india arising from a history and strong trade links with many parts of the world.
Bengali cuisine is rather particular in the way vegetables and meat are prepared before cooking. Some vegetables are used unpeeled, in some preparations fish is used unpeeled and contrast. However, in most vegetable dishes are peeled, and fish scaled and skinned.
