Sweet Sour Fish Recipe:
Ingredients:
600g to 700g garoupa fish, clean and make slanting slashes on both sides
Some wheat starch for dusting
sliced thinly 1 onion
sliced thinly 1 tbsp ginger
2 to 3 tbsp oil
2 black mushrooms, sliced
Garnishing:
1 stalk Chinese coriander, cut into 3cm-4cm lengths
1 red chilli, sliced thinly
Sauce (combine):
1/2 cup tomato sauce
chilli sauce 1 tbsp
oyster sauce 1 tbsp
1 tbsp lemon juice
water 2 to 3 tbsp
Seasoning:
1 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
Dash of pepper
1 tsp light soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp chicken stock granules
Method:
Fish dredging flour. Fry in hot oil until crisp and golden. Place on a serving platter.
Sauté onion and ginger in hot oil until fragrant. Add the mushrooms. Stir in sauce ingredients and mix well. Bring to a boil.
Add seasoning mix. Pour the sauce over the fish and garnish before serving.
