Hyderabadi Mutton Curry

Hyderabadi Mutton Curry Recipe:


Mutton – ½ kilo
Onion ( small ) – ¼ kilo
Tomato – 2
Red chilli – 15
Coriander seeds – ¼ cup
Cinnamon – 3
Cloves – 3
Cumin – ½ tsp
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Salt – as needed
Oil – as needed


Cut tomato, onion finely.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add cinnamon, cloves, cumin, coriander, red pepper, tomato, fry and grind to a paste.
Mix mutton with turmeric powder, paste of ground salt in a bowl and marinate for half an hour.
Heat oil in a pressure cooker.
Add the onion and saute for a few minutes.
Add mutton and fry until it changes color.
Add a cup of water, cover with a lid and cook.
Turn off the oven when the stove whistles three times.
